Last Thursday Ellen Böhling (inspektour) and Anne Köchling (IMT at the FH Westküste) presented the first selected results of DESTINATION BRAND 18 to more than 80 interested tourism experts at the ITB in Berlin.
In addition to the Top 10 ranking of destinations with the highest unsupported awareness, the Top 10 destinations with the highest unsupported theme suitability for a "culinary trip", "cultural holiday / trip", "nature-based holiday", "active-sports holiday" or a "city trip" were introduced to the audience. In addition, the speakers presented the Top 10 holiday activities with the highest general interest potential in each source market.
An outlook for 2019 has been given too, including the participation options for DESTINATION BRAND 19.
