Beyond the standard target group analysis inspektour has integrated two new additional approaches for the study “DESTINATION BRAND 19 – Measurement of spontaneous associations to tourist destinations” for the survey on the German source market:

What are the “9+1 types of holidaymakers”? These are target groups which are based on the general interest of Germans in holiday activities. They were developed last year by the Institute for Management and Tourism (IMT) of the FH Westküste (University of Applied Sciences) supported by inspektour on the basis of a population representative survey of 34,000 respondents and with the help of multivariate analysis methods. The “9+1 types of holidaymakers” are aimed in particular at destinations with focus on demand- and theme-oriented marketing strategy.
In order to get to know the “9+1 types of holidaymakers”, inspektour will additionally carry out an evaluation differentiated by the “9+1” for all participants of DESTINATION BRAND 19: The top 20 sub categories of spontaneous associations in the German source market will be evaluated separately for each 9+1 type, included in the individual report of each customer without additional costs. This is an introductory offer for DESTINATION BRAND 19.

This is an additional differentiated evaluation of the top 20 sub categories according to all Sinus-Milieus® Germany or Sinus-Meta-Milieus®. The data preparation includes approx. 4 pages of results in tabular form in the individual report, analogous to chapters 2.5 and 2.6 in the sample report.
